Bolt wins 3rd gold medal at London 2012 Olympics

Usian Bolt won his third Olympic gold medal of the London Olympics after he led Jamaica to first in the 4x100m relay final.

Bolt and the Jamaican team won gold and set a new world record time of 36.84 seconds beating the old world record they set at the 2008 Beijing Olympics

Team USA captured the silver medal and Trinidad & Tobago sealed the bronze.

Bolt was the anchor leg and had to steal the lead back rom the Americans and his training partner Justin Gatlin to seal the victory after having already won gold in the 100m & 200m races.

Canada were set to capture the Bronze but were disqualified after they stepped out of the boundary on a changeover.

Team GB were not in the final after having been disqualified in the first heat for an illegal baton exchange.
